.

History of The PAFA GROUP:

The Pafa limited was incorporated 2009 as a wholly owned Ghanaian company.

The level of land degradation , deforestation and water pollution of our four major rivers as a result of illegal mining and logging calls for concerted action to halt this menace which has put the nation’s survival in the near future in danger.

The polluted rivers are Ankobra, Pra, Offin, Birim and Densu. The next generations will blame us if nothing concrete is done to design and successfully implement land and water reclamation and remediation as well as afforestation and reforestation projects to restore our degraded lands, polluted water bodies and depletion of our forest.

Pafa Limited’s cutting edge experience with the urban and the rural poor makes it a leader in the design and implementation of wide range of projects and programmes that aims to modify the concept of agricultural and rural development in a way that affects the urban poor with regards to agricultural and rural development financing.

Pafa activities will quadruple the incomes of its customers which include corporate clients like the Gomoa Community Bank Limited, the first successfully merged rural – Bank in Ghana (Gomoa Rural Bank Ltd- Apam, Eastern Assin Rural Bank Ltd, Gomoa Dominase and Ajumako Rural Ltd – Gomoa Afranse) merged together and formed the Gomoa Community Bank Limited (GOcB) with its headquarters at Apam.

Pafa customers and clients also includes individuals within the brackets of the Urban and Rural poor who are mostly farmers, petty traders , commercial drivers and most importantly women. The focus of the activities of Pafa in the urban areas will be on persons involved in urban agriculture as it lunches its organic farming programme in 2018.
Pafa Ltd will also assist in design and provision of small holder irrigation facilities as well as micro Credit to its clients who are involved in agriculture and provide marketing avenues for the farmers to market their produce.Pafa therefore welcomes the initiative of the government in its Planning for Food and Jobs as well as the provision of a Warehouse for food storage and preservation in each district of the country.
Pafa Ltd has indentified water availability and marketing of farm produce as the major hindrance to agriculture.

This situation has been worsened by the urban drilled imports of what we even produce or can produce in Ghana here. Pafa Limited has already started its car disfrutation by delivering its first six cars to the Gomoa Community Bank Limited for disfrutation to its customers or hire purchase basis.
